Use of EthicPay
EthicPay helps users record debtor/lender details, repayment terms, confirmations, payment notes, nominees, and related guidance. You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and appropriateness of the information you enter.
No financial, legal, or religious ruling
EthicPay is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide financial advice, legal advice, collection services, escrow, banking, payment processing, or binding religious rulings. You should seek qualified advice where needed.
Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
Shared records
Debt and payment records may involve another party. You agree not to submit false, misleading, unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized information about another person. Counterparties may be invited to review, accept, reject, or request correction to records.
Acceptable use
- Do not use EthicPay to harass, threaten, defame, or unlawfully pressure another person.
- Do not upload malware or attempt to interfere with the service.
- Do not impersonate another person or create records you know are false.
- Do not use EthicPay for unlawful lending, fraud, or prohibited transactions.
Availability
We aim to keep EthicPay reliable, but the service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, hosting issues, updates, or events outside our control.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being used unlawfully, abusively, insecurely, or in breach of these Terms. You may request account deletion at any time through the deletion page.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EthicPay and SunnahSoft are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for disputes between users about underlying debts, repayments, or agreements.
Changes
We may update these Terms as EthicPay changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
